The 9th eddition of Global Accessibility awareness day GAAD 2020 is on May 21st 2020.
Lack of awareness is the primary problem for digital accessibility. As the saying goes, “The world is not a problem the problem is your unawareness.” Almost a decade ago, Jennison Asuncion and Joe Devon, two accessibility evangelists recognized that lack of awareness is the key problem in digital accessibility. That discussion has led to the first ever Global Accessibility awareness day GAAD.
Third Thursday in May is recognized as Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) since then. Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2020 is going to be on May 21st.
Various events of course virtually this year are organized in different parts of the world. Check the events that are available at your convenient time zone.
