PDF Accessibility – Getting started webinar by Maxability

WCAG 2.2 update by W3C
The Accessibility Guidelines Working Group formally known as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Working Group announced the first public working draft of WCAG 2.2. In this draft the major two or perhaps the only two changes from WCAG 2.1 are,
- 2.4.7 Focus visible is moved to Level A from previous Level AA
- 2.4.11 Focus Visible (Enhanced) (Level AA) is added in the draft.
The working group is intended to add 12 new success criteria in WCAG 2.2 which may change by the time they are published for recommendation. The new guidelines
The working group have no plans to release a WCAG 2.3 but the plan may change in the future. A parallel effort is in progress for the publishing of the next set of standards. Read the W3C blog article for more information.
