Technology helps people with disabilities for education, career, independent mobility, day-to-day activities etc. Many people with disabilities are aware of the devices and assistive technologies that enhance the quality of their lives. Many individuals and organizations are trying their best to let the people aware of the potential they have, how to enhance their lives using advanced technologies. American foundation for the Blind is one such organization.
The American Foundation for the Blind’s 
mission is to remove barriers, create solutions, and expand possibilities so people with vision loss can achieve their full potential—and a key part of the solution has always been technology. AFB’s goal is to provide you with the information you need to learn about available devices and mainstream technology, and even discover new ways that technology can enhance your everyday life.
